Senior Store Supervisor (Full Time, Brighton)
HOLD is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced store supervisor who shares our passion for good design and sustainability. You are a key attribute with the ability to be part of and lead a small team.
As an expert at delivering personable customer service, your skills will contribute to our ongoing success, maximise sales and meet KPIs.
Day to day, you will manage the shop floor, present our products in a warm and personable manner, deal with inbound deliveries, and process web orders. We're looking for somebody who can start immediately.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Opening and closing store procedures.
Cash handling - banking and till management.
Overseeing staff rotas, leave requests and cover.
Assist in briefing the team on new initiatives, new products, changes to targets and company news.
Maintaining safety standards alongside the onsite head office team, including staff fire safety training, alarm checks and store fire assessments.
Overseeing store maintenance and cleanliness (reporting any faults or problems with onsite head office), upholding VM standards, and communicating any issues and ideas with the creative director.
Dealing with customer queries, issues and complaints.
Working alongside the buying team to understand best sellers, slow sellers and the store inventory.
Inventory control, including stock takes, replenishments, deliveries and preventing theft.
Web order processing (packaging, processing and meeting courier cut-off).
Reporting: monthly and yearly trade & reconciliation reports.
Helping to recruit and onboard new staff members alongside HR.
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
At least two years of experience.
Educated to A level standard.
Start date, immediate.
