White Mausu
Inspired by East Asian flavours and made in Ireland, White Masu creates exciting flavours from top quality, natural ingredients. A new store cupboard essential to rival the classics.
Behind the Brand
White Masu, Japanese for mouse, was founded by Katie and Jasper, two pop-up chefs with over 30 years of experience. From fermentation to seaweed, the pair loved to experiment with flavours and new ingredients. Inspired by Japanese rāyu and their love of chilli goodness, they set up a stall selling their own condiments in Dublin flea market. Their customers loved it, and a fledgling company was born.
The Best of Both Worlds
Based in Ireland, White Masu uses traditional East Asian and Irish Ingredients with no nasty additives. From fermented black beans and Sichuan pepper to sea salt and seaweed, all of their ingredients are ethically sourced and created in small batches.
Pimping up Plain Food
You can use Masu's condiments to add a dash or dollop of excitement to any meal. From veg to fish or stews to noodles, it's an inexpensive way to jazz up your tired recipes.
