Behind the Brand
Joy Vasiljev founded The Organic company in 2007 to make well-designed organic textiles. She wanted to make the consumer aware of how damaging cotton production was and to provide a cleaner alternative. Twelve years later, The Organic Company produces more than 200 products and exports to more than 26 countries.
Truly Organic
All of The Organic Company's products are made of organic cotton and are certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). This certification ensures that everything they make is free from toxins and heavy metals. Joy Vasiljev also actively promotes organic production and sustainability by teaching more environmentally friendly business practices. In 2010, Joy won the title of Idealist of the Year for combining business with social responsibility.
