Behind the Brand
hibi is a collaboration, a marriage of two artisanal practices. Incense making from Awaji Island and matchmaking from Harima. These two industries from the Hyogo Prefecture Region came together in 2011 with the idea that a match could be an incense that could strike itself to light. This innovative idea took three years to perfect and created a new way to enjoy fragrance.
